Ben Sawchuk
Chairman of the board
Ben Sawchuk is a true, made-in-Canada Horatio Alger story. Born in a cabin on his family’s northern trapline, where the Sawchuks lived off the fur trade, Ben is one of Western Canada’s widely respected investors, entrepreneurs and business mentors. He has built and financed more than a dozen companies in real estate, insurance, finance, energy and many other sectors.
He took his securities license in 1970, joining the Principal Group, where he become the top salesman in Canada in 1970 and 1971. He began investing in real estate in 1978, starting up Loiselle Realty Ltd, named in honour of his late father in-law, Paul Loiselle. A strategic investment in a Block Brother Real Estate franchise followed, where Sawchuk became the top salesman for Canada in 1980 and 1981, and for Remax in 1987 and 1988. He formed Vancouver-based Sawchuk International Real Estate Services Inc. in 1990, creating international brokerages in six countries.
His investments in Canada’s insurance industry from 1984 until 2006 saw him acquire 20 insurance agencies across northern BC and the Northwest Territory. The Western Financial Group bought the group in 2007, at the time the largest acquisition of privately-owned general insurance agencies in Canada.
Sawchuk continues to invest in real estate and start-ups in energy, consumer goods, fintech and other sectors. His latest investment is in Tevano, where once again, Ben enters the corporate boardroom —as Tevano’s Chairman.
David Bajwa
CEO/Director
David Bajwa is a highly-motivated Capital Markets professional with over 25 years experience providing access to finance, liquidity and awareness for publicly traded companies in North America. As a member of the founding group of Chartwell Technology Inc. in 1997, David represented the company from inception to advancing the company to a full TSX senior listing, culminating in the company’s successful acquisition by Amaya Gaming in 2011. During his tenure at Chartwell, David was instrumental in capital raises exceeding $20 million through senior Canadian Investment firms and subsequently developed analyst coverage across 9 investment firms including 3 of Canada’s top 6 banks. In addition to Chartwell, he has consulted and raised capital for Triant Technologies, Kraken Sonar and most recently spearheaded the recapitalization of BST Transportation, the largest private trucking and logistic company in Western Canada.
Chad Rissanen
CRO
Chad is an inspirational enterprise leader with broad experience in strategy, operations excellence, marketing & sales management, and has a proven track record in creating effective sales strategies. He has built and lead successful teams both in house and remote before remote working was popular. Highly skilled in sales funnels and process optimization data/metric creation, sales leadership, vision creation and implementation, customer acquisition, lead acquisition and talent development. Recognized as a highly competitive self-starter with strong business sense, strong analytical skills and delivering creative resourceful approaches to solving complex business challenges.
Eugene Hodgson
CFO/Corporate Secretary
Eugene joins Tevano following an extensive career in the capital markets and public companies, serving in leadership roles in private industry most recently as CFO at Trait Biosciences Inc., a Toronto-based emerging biotechnology leader in the cannabis industry as well as in public service roles as a public policy and political advisor and Chair of Vancouver Community College. Prior to Trait he was an investment banker at Corpfinance International Inc. for 11 years, specializing in infrastructure debt. Eugene’s experience includes First Nations negotiations, corporate and financial strategy. He is a Board member of Pebble Labs, Maxtech Ventures Inc., Red Lake Gold Inc., Rover Metals Inc., Century Metal Inc., and RedFund Capital Corp. He is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a BA in economics and political science.
Slawek Wesierski
CTO
Slawek Wesierski is an information technology veteran and has an extensive background with over 25 years of development and leadership experience.
Prior to joining the Tevano team, Mr. Wesierski was focusing on designing software solutions as well as leading the process of software development and delivery for a major gaming company. His ideas are materialized in software and hardware on thousands of devices deployed to gaming establishments worldwide.
Gordon Keith
Director
Mr. Keith joined the Company on close of the transaction to acquire Tevano Systems. He presently serves as Corporate Secretary and a director of Tevano Systems
.
Mr. Keith brings extensive contacts and business experience to the Company. He is a private investor and consultant and a former real estate agent with Angell Hasman & Associates Realty Ltd., an independent, boutique firm specializing in high end real estate in West and North Vancouver.
Mr. Keith intends to devote approximately 20% of his time to the affairs of the Company.
Christian Scovenna
Director
Christian is a highly-experienced C-Suite/Capital Markets Executive with over thirteen years of experience. Scovenna, is currently CEO & Director of Ready Set Gold Corp (RSG.C), a Canadian gold company focusing on their Northshore gold camp in the Schreiber-Hemlo Greenstone belt. Currently, severs as Director for Revive Therapeutics Inc (RVV.C) and Pharmather Inc. (PHRM.C). Previously, Scovenna was
co-founder, interim CEO & Director of a Canadian Cannabis company with operations in California. Scovenna also served as Director and Senior VP of Corporate Development at Pasofino Gold Corp (VEIN.V) Over the years, Mr. Scovenna has been successful in completing numerous M&A activities and numerous capital raises.
Shawn Graham

Mr. Graham served as the 31st Premier of the Province of New Brunswick, Chair of the Council of The Federation, Co-chair of the Northeastern Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers, and Co-chair of a Pan-Canadian Trade Mission to China. Currently, Mr. Graham is President and CEO of G&R Holdings Inc., a company that assists in the development and implementation of international projects and business alliance strategies.
Mr. Graham was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of New Brunswick and was named Visionary of the Year Award by the Global Intelligent Community Forum in New York City, NY.
